Chacaltaya Glacier Melt

Chacaltaya is located in Bolivia's Cordillera Real. Chacaltaya was famous then for being the world's highest ski run at 5,300 metres (17,400 feet). The glacier was one of the highest glaciers in South America, located about 30 kilometers (19 mi) from La Paz, near Huayna Potosí mountain.

Global Warming has effected the Chacaltaya glacier. The Chacaltaya glacier, predicted to disappear in 2015 by Bolivian scientists.

But if we see what happened today, its seems it’s will be faster dissapear. It can be next year !!

Global Warming Impact

At global warming condition, temperature will increase and increase then make weather so hot. This high temperature can make ice at pole melt. If it’s not stop, there is will no ice anymore on the world. Animals who live at there will distinct. All ices become water, then it’s make sea level rises. Our land, especially low land will drawn. A lot peoples must move to higher land. Can You imagine how sad if it’s happened? And don’t you know it’s already happened at some place.

Yes, it’s already happened at someplace like at Khun Samutchine village, Thailand. Khun Samutchine village is the first community in Thailand, to suffer the direct impacts of coastal erosion caused by climate change. About 60 family forces to leave their own house and move to other place because water drawn their village.

There has been a significant shift in the New Zealand climate over the last 20 years. Annual temperatures in the central and eastern parts of the North Island have risen by up to 0.250C in the last twenty years. Recent trends indicate more droughts in the north and east of the North Island, more damaging floods in the west and south of the South Island, fewer frosts nation wide, night time temperatures continuing to rise and stronger westerly winds over southern and central New Zealand. 1998 was the hottest year on record, with an average temperature 0.80C above normal.

Bangladesh, also one of places that get worst impact of climate change coz it’s at low land. Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) said, sea level rises will drawn 17% of all Bangladesh at 2050. And forces atleast 20.000.000 people from 144.000.000 people lost their home.

Australian government warning, that sea level rises can drawn 250.000 houses, airport, and house at 2100.

Besides ice melt at pole, it’s also make different to every where on earth. The unpredictable climate is one of the effect also. All nature disaster like flood, storming, earth quake, new disease, etc it’s also the effects of global warming. Increased frequency of extreme weather events. Plants difficult to grow because the weather to hot or maybe too much water because the extreme weather. It’s make Loss of productivity, loss of income and associated social stresses.

Not only human, animal also feel it. Penguin, polar bear and other animal live at pole will lost their habitats. This situation will make all that animal is distinct. The gender of crocodile is depend the climate when they are still as egg. If too hot, it will become female. If normal will become male. If the climate will always hot, then all crocodile will be female. Then they can’t be reproduction anymore coz no male anymore.

One Of The Biggest Causes Of Global Warming Is CO2

There are a number of ways in which global warming occurs. In some forms global warming is completely natural and out of our hands to control. In other forms humans can control and even stop global warming to some degree.

It should not be of much surprise to learn that CO2 is a major cause of global warming. It has long been known that CO2 pollution enters into the Earth’s atmosphere and causes damage to occur. The result is that our planet increases in temperature through a process known as global warming. CO2 is not the only gas that wrecks havoc on the planet though. Other gases like nitrous oxide and methane all play a role too. For the most part CO2 is a main cause of global warming.
